Description

A super simple, five-ingredient pie: a buttery Oreo crumb shell filled with a fluffy cream-cheese and chopped-Oreo filling. Chill it, slice it, and watch it disappear.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 25 Oreo cookies (whole — filling stays in)
  • 5 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup powdered (confectioners’) sugar
  • 2 cups thawed whipped topping (e.g. Cool Whip)
  • 10 Oreos, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Make the crumb base. Crush the 25 Oreos until they’re fine crumbs — use a food processor or seal them in a heavy bag and smash with a rolling pin. Mix the crumbs with the melted butter until evenly moistened.
  2. Form the shell. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate (the flat bottom of a measuring cup works great to compact it). Refrigerate the crust while you prepare the filling so it firms up.
  3. Prepare the filling. In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and lump-free. Gently fold in the whipped topping, then stir in the chopped Oreos.
  4. Assemble & chill. Spoon the filling into the chilled crust and smooth the surface. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (longer gives a firmer slice). Slice and serve cold.

Notes

Storage & Make-Ahead

  • Refrigerator: Keep covered for up to 4 days.
  • Freezer: Wrap tightly and freeze up to 1 month. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.

Handy Tips

  • For superfine crumbs, blitz Oreos in a blender or food processor; alternatively, crush in a sealed bag with a rolling pin. Keep the creme filling in the cookies — it adds flavor and helps bind the crust.
  • Short on time? Buy a ready-made 9-inch Oreo crust and skip straight to the filling.
  • Press crumbs evenly with a flat tool to get a uniform shell thickness.
  • Swap in fun Oreo flavors (Birthday Cake, Chocolate Creme, Red Velvet) or use gluten-free sandwich cookies if needed.
  • Want it sweeter? Add up to 1 cup powdered sugar to the filling, tasting as you go.

Enjoy — no oven, no stress, all the Oreo goodness.
